Whilst the last few weeks have been dominated by these activities, we have been working on a plan to help our road car clients back into action. As the weather turns milder and the salt is vanishing from the roads, it is the time of year when we all start to think of getting our pride and joy back onto the road. Spring sunshine is enticing us out of hibernation, and we all want to get our four wheeled treasures back into use as soon as we can. Remember, the service book needs to be full of specialists’ stamps with a fully detailed record to keep premium values and as you have a premium asset in your garage, why entrust its care to anyone who offers a less than premium service?
If you are anything like us at SVP that process of changing fluids and checking everything over has
already started and this year it is arguably more important than most as we are sure that many of
you will not have driven your cars much at all during the enforced Covid lockdown period and so you could well be surprised to realise that they could well be two years out of a thorough inspection and service. It would be a tragedy to get out and about and have the car let you down or to plan something over the Easter and spring period and discover that you can’t take your pride and joy because of an MOT or service niggle.

From collecting the car by covered trailer and bringing it back to our workshop through to giving you a report on the car before any work is undertaken to sort it and then giving it an MOT Test – yes we KNOW cars over a certain age are exempt but surely it is better to be safe than sorry? – then either delivering the vehicle back home to you or, if you prefer, welcoming you here to SVP HQ and giving you a hot cuppa and a tour, chatting through the specifics of the work done on your car, before you motor home again ready to enjoy the year ahead with the peace of mind that a fully serviced and legally road worthy car brings.
