The Porsche 934 was introduced for the 1976 racing season. It was manufactured for two years, 1976 and 1977, with 31 total being built. It was a highly successful race car in period taking victory in the European GT Championship, whilst in the U.S it also became the Trans-Am champion. All this alongside many other wins at highly respected events throughout the late 1970s.
SVP were given the task of creating a perfect recreation of the Vaillant Kremer Team's 934 as Driven by Bob Wollek. This is now the second 934 SVP Motorsport have built having completed another perfect recreation of the well known 'Max Moritz Team Jägermeister' only a few years prior. This makes SVP Motorsport unrivalled when it comes to building 934's.
SVP's latest build has just sailed through it's FIA inspection.
The Motorsport UK representative was very thorough checking the car conforms to FIA Appendix K. They declared themselves happy and the paperwork has now been sent to the FIA for their final rubber stamp.
This means the car is eligible to compete at highly respected events such as Classic Le Mans, Spa Classic and Monza Historic.
The team will be undergoing a winter test programme with their latest build here in the UK before heading out to Europe next year for certain rounds of the Peter Auto and Masters Historic Racing series.
